Bridal Gown Online
June 9, 2011

What have you got to keep in mind when looking for a bridal gown?
And really, what all types of styles and stuff are there? I’m being vague so no one has to tell me. My nana wants to help my father’s woman out with picking out her dress as she hasn’t got one yet. (Personally I feel she’s becoming very pushy but sssh!)
We only have one formal dress shop nearby and his woman didn’t like any of the dresses there. So we are talking strictly online.
Oh. Nana is getting pushy, isn’t she? I guess she’s getting excited so we’ll have to cut Nana some slack. LOL.)
I would probably try to figure out her body type and then go to somewhere like The Knot to see if they have suggestions of this style of a dress for this kind of a body.
Is there a Davids Bridal anywhere near you? I wouldn’t necessarily buy the dress at Davids Bridal (because it is a madhouse, you have to pay a deposit way in advance, their alteration policies are not great), but I would take a field trip to Davids Bridal. They have a gabillion dresses in a variety of sizes.
I think it would be great for you, dad’s woman and Nana to go there one weekend and see what dresses look best on her body. By knowing what style (and designers) looks good on her, it will help her so much if she decides to buy her dress online or at another shop.
