email save the dates/ information to book the resort for my destination wedding prior to actual invite?
I finally got my quotes back from my travel agent on my destination wedding… just a slight problem… We were going to get invites printed with the information but she has a promo that would give people an extra $90 off per person if they book by next Wed! There is no way to get this information out to people in print before then… So, is it tacky to do a email invitation/ save the date and then say to be followed by formal invitation? Also… what could I write other then the rates and explanation for the mass email… I dont want to come across as tacky.
Any examples of what to write would be greatly appreciated!
yes do a save the date evite for everyone if you can, asap. and of course put the discount info and deadline, and that formal invitation will follow. then 8 weeks out, send your printed invitation so people have a keepsake and so they remember to mark their calendar.
