Crisis wedding dress! I lost weight and now does not match. Help !!!!?
I bought my dress and on 12/02/07 was told that I should lose weight (the intention to do so) I could have changed a 3 sizes or change of a minor. So this Saturday I went to my alterations after losing 30 pounds + and the seamstress takes a look ay the receipt for exchange. But the dress LEFT !!!!! They say they can change (at least $ 160 for it and only paid $ 300 for the dress), but never said, "and will look look "… she just kept saying "I can make it fit. For my money, need more than "adjustment". However, I'm getting married in Jamaica so I need a way to dress (as was), but this is a sign of selling clothes (still has the label) and look for a Sun dress much more casual? Simple and white … Short strapless? Or should the search for the best changes? If they complain management ?!?!?! Help, please! My wedding is 07/07/07 !!!!!!!!!
First of all, congratulations to both your weight loss and the next wedding! My answer is "sell" – may sound horrible and so does not need the hassle or stress – and why take the chance they screw it up? Celebrate your new shape with a new dress that I love you! (If I like this dress, then get changed) If the store will not help (and I doubt it will), then it would be more business with them at all. Take the dress and sell it elsewhere – that someone will love and wear. This a new "perfect" dress – a little more sexy, baby! There are so many informal beach wedding is now to choose from!
