What would you think if you attended a wedding…?
What would you think if you attended a wedding, having to travel a few towns over or a couple states- the wedding and recepton are held late afternoon on into the evening and very lush, trendy and elegant.
Than, the next day the bride & groom hold a thank you, back yard bash- very laid back and rustic…country ho-down of sorts. The night before was more luxurious, while this is the fun and family-spirited part that make great family pics and memories. The bride does wear white (not her wedding dress) and they do take off after the bbq lunch for their honeymoon.
Would this seem like two receptions and be complete overkill, or would it be nice to have so much time and consideration put into this family event- especially considering you did travel for this.
The wedding and reception would go from about 5-midnight
and
back yard bash would be from 11-2
I think that would be very thoughtful of the bride and groom and their parents.
