Too "-ish" the bride?
For my 20th (surprise) birthday, I was told to choose a dress that was fit to living environment. I chose this dress ivory following: http://www.jcrew.com/catalog/product.jhtml?id=prod63050171&catId=cat302205 However, I am worried it might be too wedding-y. Therefore, I intend to adapt it to put a black scarf around the waist and wearing black gloves. Would this "De-marriage" who? Or is it better to buy the same dress in black? I think it would be a little wedding-ish, even if you put a black stripe on it. Just to be sure I buy it in black or another color.
