Everyone went to State Farm Insurance (home), after filing a complaint?
We live in New York (Long Island) and recently arrived Vacation Home to find a flood caused by a bad hose washing machine that was broken by attrition. No harm, above and below. Washer is in the kitchen, and there was no water in some rooms the carpets and walls damaged – not too horrible. The worst was on the ground floor where water has caused the collapse of ceilings in two rooms. Needless to say that this will end up being a great demand. How is nervous about being abandoned? State Farm is sending a second person to see the damage after have received estimates of the catering company and the contractor floor, to approve the work. We only had one request Small claims and a wedding ring lost 10 years ago. We have three other policies, in addition to our insurance. Thank you for the advice you can give.
I use State Farm, that will not leave. Doubt that the house is occupied by the owner, however, that a large amount of damage that could not (logically) would happen if there was nobody at home.
