Wedding Engagement Party Invitations

The invitations for the engagement party, can someone help me?
I throw an engagement party for my best friend. It will have a wedding on the beach (the beach, beach theme decorations, dressed in blue, etc..) Came with her and we both want to do something something casual. Marriage is supposed to be luxury, if we want the engagement party to be rather informal. We thought barbecue and a luau / beach type theme (to match the wedding). I want to send invitations cute with such a pretty little poem or short. I'm not creative … ideas?
