Sacred Music … Why almost stereotypical names in the style of music – hymns to modern, to Tradtion
As a Catholic, Personally, I like the traditional Catholic music. Sometimes I feel sad when the music becomes a modern style, only to attract more people. After a recent marriage, the Methodist church we were old traditional hymns, but they are different books of traditional music Many Catholics used. Similarly, most churches do not use new labels new music. It is difficult to say what is good or bad, I do 'm not that question … But the root of the music for the Church, can someone help me with this? Or … Thank you!
Gregorian choirs are very very old .. but still very modern compared to the time of Christianity .. Now it is modern and the traditional? I bet there is a church in the world with the same music as the first churches in Israel 2000 years ago let alone someone who actually knows what music should sound. Traditions are still evolving, maintain or grow old. Unfortunately, however, that traditions become obsolete.
