Help …. Michigan Marriage??
My boyfriend and I are trying to plan a wedding in June 2009 in Michigan, but he has lost, completely lost. Someone Did you advise on the location of the site, the vendor, DJ, photographers, wedding planners, or service in southern Michigan? If you were planning her own wedding, there are resources, recommend books, planning guides and websites? We greatly appreciate the advice, including opinions color options ranging from personal music home. We believe that we have about 200 people, mostly families, and we look forward to our Budget less than $ 30,000. Advance thank you!
Oh, my God! I can understand why you lost. There are many places and options! The first step is to choose a general location (east side that Warren or the heights of the law? West side, like Troy or Rochester?), then close out him. My best advice is to actually go to the places you think. Walk around them, ask for a snack food. Better yet, ask if you can come to the place where an event happens and see how things are managed in a real situation. As for DJs and photographers, ask for references and samples of their work. Most places I let you go to a reception to "audition" of DJ's. Make a List things that you absolutely must have, definitely do not want things, things that are negotiable. Knowing what you want and do not want to go a long way to power within budget. It will also help people who contracted for your convenience. For example, if a room has something that you do not want, ask if you something about the price if it is not. Maybe you can get a lower price if you do the "package deal" with photo of 11 x 14? has never hurts to ask. discuss and negotiate so that you can with the options. The worst thing you can do is say no. Good luck!
